Oct 30: oopsies
Oh ikea... your products are so stylish & functional. But, why must everything require an allen wrench! I have a bajillion at home, but like a goof, I packed them all up... before disassembling my bed! A phone call to dma, a google map search & a trip to Shucks (or whatever it is called now) and the crisis was averted. phew!

Oct 18: Emerald City Trick or Treat
According to Kong 6/16 according to Zagat (I think?) Seattle is the best US city for trick-or-treating! I was too late to snap a pic of the top cities, but managed to get this one of the top Seattle neighborhoods. So, bundle up the kiddies & head to Wallingford! (p.s. isn't my living room a big, big mess? I am in the middle of packing & my poor living room looks terribly upset).
Oct 17: Hot Chocolate!
Apple Cider is nice this time of year. Coffe is always my friend. Tea has its place in the cupboard, too. But... there is just something so soothing about hot chocolate; it is especially perfect when you feel crummy.

Oct 14: Vintage
Beleive it or not, this old school stapler is still in use in my office. In fact, I use it at least once a week! It has its quirks (you have to push down on it twice) and I think it may be older than me? I think it is pretty cool & I like the look, so for today's picture, I snapped a quick pic with my Evo.

Check out this collection of old cameras at the Mt. Vernon Goodwill... seeing all of these at once was rather humbling... think about all of the family memories, birthday parties, random bbqs , proud graduations, and cheesy touristy travel pictures that have been captured on these devices. One of these may have inspired someone to move up to an slr & become a pro! Is that Awhizzl's Canon? hmmmm....Oct 11: I'll take this, too

Oct 9: Busy Little Dude
Katie & co. went to Oktoberfest this weekend, so I got to hang out with my favorite little guy again! We hung out at the children's museum in factoria from 1-5pm. Crazy, huh? It was cool, though, because for four hours I didn't have to worry about him touching things he wasn't supposed to, or breaking things, or climbing on things he shouldn't.... I just had to keep track of him in darting around in the sea of parent & kids!

Hmmm, what else can I sell on craigslist? Maybe this medicine cabinet? I took a close up shot of the damaged corner. neat.
Oct 6: Blah
Well, I didn't do ANYTHING interesting today. I woke up with a horrible headache & sore throat.... I figured my wonderful little nephew shared some of his preschool germs with me. Great. So, I ended up staying home from work, which isn't cool because it is a bit of a super busy time right now. blah. I took this picture of my dresser though & posted it on craigslist... this thing was super-duper popular & I ended up with, like, 12 inquiries!

Man, having a smart phone is cool. In the past, when I redecorated, I had to remember where I saw things, how much they cost, what the dimensions were, and all that good stuff. Now, with the help of my Evo, I can keep a list in notes of places I have been, take pictures of things that I like & search for said items on craigslist.Oct 4: Rug-na
After work today, dma and I went to ikea. I was looking for design ideas, he was just along for the ride. (thanks, man, for enabling me! lol) I found this nice gray rug for $20. I think it will be great in my new den!
